One of the key initiatives we support is the Department of Defense’s SkillBridge program. This program allows active-duty service members to gain valuable civilian work experience during the last 180 days of their service. At Tensley Consulting, we’ve developed a robust SkillBridge program that connects transitioning service members with roles in our company that align with their military training and skills. This not only helps ease their transition but also ensures they are well-prepared to enter the civilian workforce.

Clearance Sponsorship: Opening Doors to New Opportunities
Many military roles require security clearances, and these clearances can be a significant advantage in the civilian job market. However, maintaining or obtaining a clearance can be challenging for veterans who are transitioning out of the military. That’s why we offer clearance sponsorship to qualified veterans, helping them maintain or obtain the necessary clearances to work on a variety of high-level contracts. This sponsorship not only opens doors to new career opportunities but also ensures that our veterans can continue to serve their country in a different capacity.

The intent of this program is to provide transitioning service members with on-the-job training and internships focused around their career post-military. We aim to teach, mentor and grow these service members to help them land the job of their dreams post separation. During our SkillBridge internship, you can expect to work alongside some of the best and the brightest in your respective area. We provide opportunities for everyone in areas ranging from System/Software Engineering to Network Engineering, Intelligence Analysis, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Human Resources, Staffing and management! Tensley can work with service members to tailor their programs to fit their needs, whether it is a hybrid model, completely on-site or even fully remote. We have opportunities for individuals to join us via SkillBridge from almost anywhere in the United States!
