Founder
Timothy Lang has over 40 years of diverse DoD and IC experience, primarily focused on systems and software engineering and development, project/task leadership and program management. Tim has broad experience in systems and software engineering, adapting software to control hardware, graphical user interfaces as well as full life cycle and agile development practices.
Tim is a Vice President and a founding partner in Tensley Consulting, Inc. He provides systems and software engineering as well as programmatic expertise to a number of customers.
Tim has worked for a number of premier technical companies over the course of his career including the Watkins-Johnson Company, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Applied Signal Technology. He continually strengthened his technical expertise across the Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) domains.
Tim also continuously augmented his engineering management experience during his time at those companies. Tim managed Tensley’s entire engineering staff for over 10 years.
Tim is currently providing System Engineering support to a critical operations directorate office within the DoD and supporting Tensley’s continued growth and expansion.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with an Applied Mathematics concentration from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland.
